STOP MOTION
BLOBS OF NEW YORK
Blobs of New York was created as the final project for my Still & Moving Images class in Fall 2024. While reviewing our work from the semester, Nabira and I realized we were both interested in telling the everyday stories of New Yorkers. Using clay and stop-motion animation, we portray the collective experience of feeling insignificant within repetitive routines — like a blob — while suggesting that these very blobs are what constitute New York City.
