This lyric video for SEVENTEEN's Love, Money, Fame was created for my Motion Graphics course in Fall 2024. Over the two-week production period, I designed the visual assets in Adobe Illustrator then animated them in Adobe After Effects.

Storyboard
I spent the first week storyboarding, drafting each scene's graphic design and considering the motion of each element. I also created time markers for the music on Adobe After Effects.
Assets
I mostly spent the second week fleshing out the assets on Adobe Illustrator. I tried to make simpler graphics based on the theme of the album's cover to make animating them easier, but I wish I had spend more time designing these assets for a more engaging video. Most of my time in Illustrator was spent on setting up the layers and preparing the file for export to Adobe After Effects.
Animation
As anticipated, I spent many more hours on the third week animating on Adobe After Effects. I had minimal experience with After Effects prior to this project, so I had to find tutorials when I did not know how to create an effect. I also spent time going back to Adobe Illustrator to edit the assets and make more as I saw needed while animating.
